  • salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons peanut oil

Directions

  1. To make a delicious dish with broccoli and carrots, boil a big pot of lightly salted water. When the water reaches boiling point, add the broccoli and cook it uncovered for approximately two minutes or until it turns bright green. Use a slotted spoon to move the cooked broccoli to a bowl of iced water and let it sit for a few minutes to stop the cooking. After that, drain the broccoli and put it aside.
  2. Boil a large pot of water. Then, add sliced carrots and cook for 1 minute. Finally, drain the carrots.
  3. Create a mixture of cornstarch and water in a separate bowl, ensuring it is smooth. Then, add salt to your desired taste and make sure it is thoroughly mixed in.
  4. Heat peanut oil in a wok or a large skillet over high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the sautéed broccoli and carrots to the wok or skillet and cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Pour the cornstarch mixture into the wok or skillet and stir it so all the vegetables are coated. Cook for another 1 to 2 minutes.
  6. And there you have it! Your deliciously cooked broccoli and carrot dish is ready to be enjoyed.
