Ingredients for 1 serving:

  • 1 medium sweet apple washed with peel on
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup chopped frozen banana
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1/2 tablespoon pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • small handful of ice


  1. Wash and dry the apple. Remove the skin.
  2. Discard the core and cut the remaining apple into 1-inch chunks.
  3. Add the almond milk, oatmeal, banana, almond butter, maple syrup, vanilla, and cinnamon in the order listed in a blender.
  4. Blend until smooth, and then add a small handful of ice.
  5. Blend again for a thicker smoothie, or add more milk for a thinner consistency.
