Ingredients

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 medium sweet apple; washed and peeled
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup chopped frozen banana
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1/2 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • small handful ice

Instructions

  1. Using a knife, clean and dice the apple into 1-inch chunks. Discard the core. Place the chunks into a blender.
  2. To the blender, add the remaining ingredients in the order listed: almond milk, oatmeal, banana, peanut butter, maple syrup, vanilla, and cinnamon. Blend until smooth.
  3. Then, add a small handful of ice and blend again.
  4. Finally, sprinkle with additional cinnamon as desired and enjoy!
